Way back in the early 80s when I was on teaching practice in Coventry, I taught a little boy, who constantly fell asleep in class. He told me that he had no bed - in fact, he had no bedroom. He slept on the floor on the landing. He was simply too tired to learn. Roll on 40+ years and there are still children going to school without a good nights sleep. 

Zarach is an amazing Leeds Charity, set up be a teacher, providing beds and bedding for children living in poverty across our city.
