Fundraising for EMERGENCY
Story
Dear friends ( versione in italiano a seguire)
The time has arrived for me to challenge my self and beg for some money, I have enrolled myself in the London BUPA 10K!
This may look like a very easy challenge to some, but you know that I would NEVER put myself into so much trouble if I didn't have a much higher goal than just getting fit for the summer.
My motivation is promoting the awareness of EMERGENCY UK, a charity originally founded in Italy in 1994 to provide relief and medical assistance to victims of war, land mines and poverty and to promote a culture of peace,
The money I will raise will go towards funding the EMERGENCY Paediatric Centre in Bangui, Central African Republic, a Centre opened 24 hours/day, and offers primary and emergency healthcare to children.I hope you will join me with a donation in this little journey towards a war free and more equal society.Any donation , no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated by all the young patients of this hospital on whose behalf I will run on the 27th of May 2013.

I am very happy today , I have just reached my new fundraising target of £1000 and I am now ready for my run that will be in less than 1 week.
I haven't always been as good as I wanted and had to miss some trainings but....I 've never given up! and at the end of the day this is what's important: not giving up , keeping your determinations, keeping your dreams, keeping your desire to live in a better world where there would be space and rights for any human being.
I hope not to fail now during the race, but so far I feel that I have already won, we all won!
