We support cardiac care to help heart patients in Sussex

Story

On New Year's Eve 2019/20 I went out for a run, which I failed to finish because along the way I had a massive heart attack.

My life was saved by excellent doctors at the Royal Sussex hospital in Brighton. I was then lucky to have an equally excellent course of cardiac rehabilitation provided by the Sussex Heart Charity, which supports the hospital's work. Thanks to their support, expert advice and encouragement I am running again, and going further and faster than I ever could before.

The Sussex Heart Charity saves lives and restores quality to lives once they have been saved. I owe them a lot and would like to repay a portion.

Update: The run is done! 25.3km; took 1hour 56 mins and half a packet of fruit pastilles.

Thanks to all who sponsored me. Your contributions will make a huge difference to a lot of people, improving lives; saving lives.
