Raeesa’s August Deployment to Lebanon · 8 August 2022
Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).”
Lebanon is in a financial crisis, food prices have skyrocketed, making it hard for families to afford basic essentials, including food, healthcare, and education. Medical centers throughout the country face shortages of basic supplies, in a time when COVID-19 cases are on the rise.We continue to reassess the most urgent needs.
Right now, we are about to begin 3 months of delivering essential medical supplies in Saida, Beirut, Bekaa, North Lebanon, and Baalbek. As you all know I have visited Lebanon on deployment and have see first hand the living conditions of these humble Muslims. Despite their situation they are always in gratitude to Allah SWA. Some of these families have no breadwinner and are forced to get their small children to work for meagre amounts (£0.20) a day. Charity will never ever decrease your wealth! Give what you can and Allah will pay you back, that’s his promise!
£30 – Provide a family with 2 bread deliveries per week for two months. Bread is a staple within the Arab diet and provides nutrients such as fibre to fuel the body
£60 – Help us to support our emergency medical and education work in Lebanon.
£70 - Provide a nutritious food parcel to feed a family for a month.
