Okay so most of you know that I
have pretty long hair. I mean- there's a lot of it. Seriously. I'm constantly getting
it stuck in doors, pushing it out of the way, always apologising for getting it
in people's faces when I give them a hug and just the thought of washing my
hair leaves me with aching arms.
I've never cut my hair short
before because it's always been like a safety blanket to me. But when I found
out that anyone can donate hair to charity, to children who need it more than I
do, I decided it was something I wanted to do. I mean- it’ll grow
back…eventually.
So this Easter I will be cutting
off about 20 inches (or as much as I
can give) of my hair and donate it to Wigs for Kids
(http://www.wigsforkids.org/) to go towards making wigs for children in America
who have lost their hair due to medical issues including chemotherapy,
alopecia, and burns. And the money I raise is going to Cancer Research UK (http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/) :)
Please donate! This is a really
big deal for me and I want to raise the most I possibly can! And if you can't
donate then please share this page :)Thank you so much :D
