I am an ICS Volunteer and i have been given the once in a lifetime opportunity to  volunteer in Uganda for 12 weeks on a youth led development programme.

This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most. I’ll be working alongside volunteers from Uganda, on a project that helps raise awareness on several issues.

Restless Development Uganda has three goals and with your help we could get closer to achieving them!

GOAL 1: Civic Participation

GOAL 2: Livelihoods and Employment

GOAL 3: Sexual and Reproductive Health

Currently 7.2% of Uganda's population is living with HIV. This amounts to an estimated 1.4 million people, which includes 190,000  being children. With your help we can help raise awareness and help reduce these numbers by educating the young people of Uganda.

I need to raise £800 for Restless Development who are one of the respected development charities that deliver ICS. This will allow them to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work. You can check out their amazing work here:
