Radcliffe Orchestra
Concerts have been given by musicians on the staff of Oxford’s Health Services and their friends for over 40 years. The orchestra is based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and holds three concerts each year in aid of medical charities. Due to Coronavirus, the healthcare staff obviously had other priorities in recent weeks and our Summer concert which was due to be held on June 6th had to be cancelled. Instead, the orchestra has completed a virtual performance of Elgar's 'Nimrod' to celebrate the 72nd birthday of the NHS and to continue raising funds for NHS charities.
