Story
Hi all, we are a small team of (wannabe) Rad Dads who have decided to take on an epic 100km off-road cycle from London to Brighton in September.
The entire route will be on mixed off-road trails and includes around 5,000ft of ascent. 100km would be tough on a road for us, so this will be a real challenge as our average speed will probably be less than half of a moderate road biker. All in all, we expect around 8hrs in the saddle and are aiming to complete the journey without the need for an air ambulance...
Thanks for visiting our page. We’re raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we’d be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target. Thanks!
