Join me in making a difference for the animals of Second Chance Pet Adoptions! Every dollar raised through the FURtual Racing for Rescues 2021 event helps to support the stray and abandoned cats and dogs in their care. While some of the animals require extensive medical care, even the healthiest among them will incur routine costs such as food ($15-$40 depending on size), vaccinations ($15-20), and dewormer ($12 to over $50 for very large dogs). Additionally, all of their animals are microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoption, with costs for cats and dogs ranging up to $159. Second Chance also funds the spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs owned or cared for by members of the public to take a proactive approach to ending animal homelessness.
