Rach's Great North Run Challenge - COVID Compliant!

My story

On the 13th of September I was due to take part in my first ever Great North Run. Running for Blood Cancer UK on behalf of Alex’s Legacy. Due to COVID-19 this has now been cancelled.

Still wanting the opportunity to raise money for a very worthy cause I have signed up to the Great North Run Solo challenge.

40 runs (1 for every year of the GNR) starting on the 28th of June and finishing on the 13th of September.

My aim is to cover 300 miles and secure a gold medal for the challenge and hopefully raise money for a charity close to my heart.

300 miles is a big challenge for me, but doing this in memory of such a special and inspirational person makes me want to give it my absolute all.

Whether it was ultra marathons or scaling mountains, Wigs would never back down from a challenge, so I won’t either.

Please help me raise money for an amazing cause in memory of a wonderful person.
