Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Just before Christmas I was starting to think about having my hair cut short after having had it shoulder length , in various styles, for the past 15+ years. I then started to think if I was going to go short then why not go REALLY short and raise some money for charity at the same time!

Headway supports people recovering from head injuries and brain surgery. Having learnt early January that a cousin of mine, who is a similar age to me, had been diagnosed with a Tectal Plate Tumour, and because of this now suffers with a condition called Nystagmus , which effects his eyesight;  choosing Headway as one of the benefactors of my head shave just seemed to make sense to raise awareness and support for this charity.

I will be shaving my head on the 4th July 2015 at the Railway Inn in Oakham in order to raise money for the charities Headway and Help for Heroes.

Please donate now and help me to raise a massive amount of money for both these charities!

Everyone is welcome to the event and extra donations on the day will give you the chance to shave some of my hair off yourself!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
