Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 17th April 2011 I will be running Virgin the London Marathon for St.Anne's Hospice in Newport.

St Anne’s Hospice is an In Patient, Specialist Palliative Care unit. They concentrate on providing an ‘In Patient’ service for adult patients who have been referred with a life limiting illness.

The Hospice is still the only ‘In Patient’ facility of it’s kind in the whole of the county of Gwent and has affectionately become known as the ‘People’s Hospice’. It provides care and support to the people who have a progressive, life limiting disease, such as Cancer, Motor Neurone disease, etc.  The Hospice is a special place and imparts a special relationship with all who are touched by it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I really appreciate it,

Rach
