Story

Mavi-Mae Davies born on the day of love 14.02.2023 17 weeks early due to placenta abruption Mavi’s entrance in to this big scary world was quick but she was a fighter from her very first breath , Mavi was taken straight to the Nicu where she spent 8 days before she sadly passed away. One thing Mavi taught me  in her short life is how strong you can be when being strong is the only option you have. Losing Mavi has left a massive hole in our hearts and it’s something we will never come to terms with nor understand why she can’t be in this big crazy world with us. Placenta Abruption is very common but rarely spoken about nor understood why it happens this is something that I hope will change in the future as living everyday with no answers is an unbearable pain. We promised to keep Mavi’s Memory alive and that is exactly what we will do there is no lengths we won’t go too to make sure the world knows about our beautiful little girl. In her short life she made the biggest impact everyone come together to remember our baby and seeing how loved she is and was brought us the greatest pride. There is no footprint too small that it can’t leave an imprint on the world Mavi is Proof of that.

Our team leader made a promise to Mavi-mae when she was in the hospital to walk/ run a 1000 miles in her name. but as you as you all know team work makes dream work so as a family we have come together to do a series of challenges to get those miles in. On the 26th of August our team will be will be walking london to brighton in memory of our belived Mavi x
