Rachel has worked with this charity since before it was even called Evolve, and over the years has met and talked with some of the people they help. They're courageous and determined individuals, who have often overcome events and circumstances that would have floored most of us. Evolve's focus is on addressing the causes of homelessness, working with the young and vulnerable to help prevent rough sleeping before it starts.

John has both lived and worked in Croydon and the surrounding area for many years – and has spent his working life caring for vulnerable people, albeit in a rather different care context. As a parent of young adults, and someone who believes profoundly in justice and equality of opportunity, he was more than happy to be involved.

It's certainly a date night with a difference…
