Royal Parks Half Marathon 2019
Campaign by NSPCC (RCN 216401 and SC037717)
Run this stunning autumnal route through four of Londons Royal Parks, and take in some of the best views the capital has to offer. This scenic run is great for first time runners.

Story

I had a safe and happy childhood (a massive thank you Mum and Dad for playing a huge part in that x).  A safe and happy childhood is my number one priority for my own children and I believe this should be every child's birthright - but we all know it's not. The NSPCC does vital work to help protect and nurture those children in the UK who are at risk or have been harmed. Taking part in this half marathon is a huge personal challenge for me - I am certainly not a natural born runner and I think it's fair to say I've not really done as much training as I'd have liked!  As ever, life gets in the way...  However I am determined to run all of it - and I reckon I can!  Please donate if you are able and help me smash my financial target so together we can enable help for some of the most vulnerable in our society.

Thank you, Rachel x  (Ps all very last-minute preparation tips welcome)

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse. That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
