Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. We are cycling the 900 miles between John O'Groats and Land's End to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. My friend Rebecca lost her life to the illness last year.
Rebecca was my oldest friend. The friend I had known for 22 years. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter and wife. Rebecca died on the 10th June 2009 after living bravely with Cystic Fibrosis for 27years. Rebecca was spirited and courageous to the end of her life. She is missed by everyone who knew her.
In Rebecca's memory five of us are cycling the mammoth John O'Groats to Land's End. We will set out for Scotland on 3rd August and hope to reach Land's End by the 19th. We are raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to help support over 8,500 children and adults in the UK suffering from the disease. The money raised will also go towards essential research into the best treatments for those living with CF. Most importantly, the most recent developments in gene therapy and research into an eventual cure, can only take place if people give generously to the trust. Your donations are so important.
Please help support this cause by giving generously. We will certainly be working hard for two weeks to earn every penny.
Thank you so much for your support, your donation is truly appreciated.
