Story

I was supposed to run the marathon last year, however falling on the ice while training left me with a shattered elbow. So I deferred, and after three surgeries and a year of weekly physio me and the dodgy elbow are going to have another go.

I'm running for The Prince's Trust because in 2001 they helped me to start my business. The Trust gave me confidence to get started and real practical skills that I still rely on after all this time. I now tell my story to the groups of young entrepreneurs being supported by the trust, as a volunteer speaker.

The Trust really believe that young people - even if they have had a non-perfect start in life or are in tough situations - can do great things. So help me to give back to The Prince's Trust, and encourage me and the wonky elbow as we tackle the marathon in 2014.
