Alzheimers disease is a horrible disease that means you lose the person before it is really there time to leave this earth. It is hard for anyone who has to deal with the enviable outcome of dementia and alzheimers of a well loved person not knowing who you are anymore and no longer being the person you once new. 

Sadly my 1 year old son will never be able to meet his great grandma's who both suffered with alzheimers and have passed on.
