Peter had completed the Great North Run three times in a row from 2000-2002 with his close friend Pat Harper. They made a pact that the next time they would run would be when Pat turned 50, earlier this year three of us decided we would run as a group

Sadly no-one could have predicted that Peter would not be here to join us. His tragic death has been a shock to everyone. This has, however, made us more determined to complete the run for Peter and to raise money for the charity he always supported - Candlelighters.
