Story
Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page (:
I am running the Bupa Great Birmingham Run on the 19th October 2014, but this year I'm doing it slightly differently! I am running in full army combat gear!
2014 marks 10 years since I lost my sister Victoria to a brain hemorrhage. This was completely out of the blue and as a result dramatically changed my own and my families lives.
Victoria - known to many as Tori, was 19 and a member of the Royal Corps Signals British Army. She enjoyed what she did and served for the best part of 4 years.
Her commitment and dedication to what she did has inspired to me take on this tough challenge of running half a marathon in full army gear, something she would have undertaken as part of her training!
I am running in the memory of my beautiful sister, to raise as much money as I can to help fund vital research into many types of neurological brain conditions, in the hope that the future will be much brighter for suffers and their families.
Please give what you can and spread the word! Every single penny counts. Thank you :) xXx
