We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My amazing brother Andrew died when he was just thirteen years old from a very rare brain tumour. Andrew went through 15 months of treatment but sadly none of the treatment worked. Throughout  everything he remained, happy, smiley, positive and his usual fun loving, jokey self. He was such an inspiration to me and everyone who knew and loved him.

Research into brain tumours is very under- funded and any donations that you could give would be gratefully received and will help enormously to fund new treatments for sufferers in the future through The Brain Tumour Charity - Andrew Stringer Fund.

I have been lucky enough to get a place in the Marathon on the Adidas team which is very exciting, although 26 .3 miles seems a very long way to me, however if Andy was here today he would tell me, in the words of 'Dory' from Finding Nemo, "just keep swimming" and I intend to do just that (well running anyway)! in my amazing brother's memory.

Thank you for your support. Rachel x
