Story
James is my lovely 5 year old son who is happy and full of life.
When James was 19 months old he become extremely poorly and was admitted to hospital where he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
He is now dependant on multiple injections and blood tests daily for the rest of his life.
Being a resilliant little chap he has coped fantastically with his condition and refuses to let it inhibit or limit him from doing anything any other 5 year olds would do.
The JDRF is a charity committed to helping find a cure for type 1 diabetes as well as helping support and educate families who have their worlds turned upside down when their little ones are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
For the past 2 years we have participated in the "walk to cure diabetes" fund raising event which is a 5km walk to raise funds for the JDRF to carry on its worth while work.
We are hoping to raise £300 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
