Hi everyone,
I’ve been looking for some kind of physical challenge to put myself through for a while, and when the opportunity came up to take part in the 2018 ViaChallenge, it seemed like the perfect fit.
Because walking 22 miles along the Thames pathway can’t be that hard, right? RIGHT?! (Help)
To support MTV Staying Alive for their 20th anniversary, I’ll be taking a leisurely 22 mile stroll along the Thames, killing my feet but supporting an amazing cause in the process.
Money raised will support MTV Staying Alive's youth-led, sexual health and HIV prevention projects around the world. They provide funding and training to grass-roots, youth-led initiatives that provide education about HIV and sexual and reproductive health in their local areas. They target marginalised communities and groups of people more vulnerable to the risk of HIV/AIDS, hence why 30% of the projects we are supporting in 2017 are female-led and/or female focused.
To find out more about their vital work with young people please visit www.mtvstayingalive.org. Thank you so much for your generous support!
