Story

Lucy ‘Belle’ Stevenson

Lucy was an amazing mother to Megan and William, a much
loved daughter to Jan, an irreplaceable sister to Rachel, a devoted niece to Jayne and an amazing friend to all who knew her.

Lucy’s children, Megan and William, her main source of pride
and happiness, are true testament to what an incredible woman & mother Lucy was. Their strength and resilience just goes to show what a force of nature Lucy was.

Life for Lucy’s family and friends just isn’t the same. There
is a void for all that can never be filled. Lucy’s family, friends, work
colleagues past and present and acquaintances will miss her cheeky humour and beaming smile.  Courageous and inspiring
to the last, no words can convey how much she is missed.

Those who knew Lucy could tell some stories! She was the
most bubbly, funny, caring, strong, hopeful & beautiful lady anyone could wish to know. The brightest of stars that could light up any room just by being there. Always ready for a chat, a giggle, to offer sound advice, or a cheeky drinkie and a boogie if the time was right!

Lucy was loving and giving and took part in Race for Life
whilst undergoing chemotherapy, always wanting to do anything to help anyone.

Now it’s our turn – a motley crew of Belle’s nearest and
dearest propose to attempt to row the Dragon without capsize or random trauma, who knows what may go amiss!  Please give
anything you can. Severn Hospice provide dignified, compassionate support when people need it most. Lucy was only with them for a short time but in those hours they ensured she was surrounded by love and free from pain, and her family and friends were supported and guided through this heart breaking time.

Your donation may one day help the hospice provide similar
care for your loved ones in their final hours.
