As most of you are aware I LOVE my running! But I am about to venture into the realms of ultra running. At the end of September I will be running 68k (from Ely to Cambridge and back) in my first ultra marathon. Also this year we lost a family friend to pancreatic cancer at a very young age, 38. He leaves behind his wife and 2 very young daughters. Sometimes life is very unfair.

I wanted to do something to remember Chris and also raise some money for Pancreatic Cancer UK. It is going to be a big challenge for me, but nothing to what Chris had to face over the past year. When I feel I can't take another step I will remember that it is nothing to the pain Chris had to go through.
