A group of us are running the Yorkshire Marathon and Yorkshire 10 mile on 15th October in honour of Rachel's brave Mum, Eileen, who is fighting Ovarian Cancer. 

The ANCHOR Unit is a collective of specialised wards and clinics within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary - the central hub of cancer and haematology care for the North-east of Scotland. The Unit has been instrumental to the care that Eileen has and continues to receive. 

Their services are freely available for every patient, with programmes also available for the staff caring for them. Friend's of Anchor invest in medical equipment and pioneering research to push the boundaries in diagnosis, treatment and care for people.
