Two years ago I visited Jordan with the Methodist relief and development charity, All We Can.  Over 650,00 people fleeing the war in Syria are living in Jordan.  Many of them have left everything behind and are traumatised by their experiences. 

Working with local partners, All We Can is helping these refugees.  I met women who have been able to give birth safely in hospital, families who were being housed and fed, children who were counselled through their trauma and able to play again.  All We Can was making a difference in the lives of some of the poorest and most vulnerable people.  

All We Can works in Africa and Asia to help local people and organisations to find long term solutions to poverty and to provide humanitarian relief caused by crisis, conflict and disasters.  Your donation will make a real difference.  You can find more about their work here: allwecan.org.uk

Running doesn't come naturally to me - when I was young I was always excused from cross country running because of my asthma.  So running as part of the All We Can 10K team won't be easy!  But I'm training hard and hoping that my pain will help raise money for a really important and effective charity.
