I am joining my brother in law and niece to walk the Yorkshire three peaks on 26th June, to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. 

My Dad sadly has the disease, but currently still lives at home with my Mum and takes daily medication. Unfortunately, one of Dad's sisters, my Auntie Rita, had the disease and she passed away in 2015 - at which point she was in a home, and could no longer speak and was confined to a bed. My brother in law's dad also had the disease and sadly died last year.

The walk will be a challenge for me, but it's something I have always wanted to do, and also raise money for a cause very close to me.
