So I've been talked into doing a pretty gruelling 400k cycle ride this year through Vietnam and Cambodia over 5 days. Its for an incredibly worthwhile charity that aims to prevent the suffering that results from the devastating problems that can and do affect women and their babies; including miscarriage, premature birth, brain injury, cancer and infertility.

A shocking 250 babies die every week in the UK as a result of complications during pregnancy, and the work of the charity is essential if this is ever to be reduced. The charity works with large teams of doctors and scientists to improve the health of women and their babies through research and training programmes.

Such issues are likely to impact us all in some way during our lifetime whether it be directly or through a loved one, therefore research into this area is of vital importance. Please dig deep and donate as much as you can spare for this worthwhile cause.
