Story
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We (Rachel, Kenneth, Murray, and Kayleigh) are taking part in the Great North Run in September this year. In doing so we are hoping to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Myeloma UK, a cause which means a great deal to us.
Myeloma UK is a charity that plays an important role in research in to the causes and treatments of Myeloma, a blood/bone marrow cancer. It’s ultimate goal is of-course to find a cure as at present Myeloma is incurable. Myeloma UK also provides invaluable support and care for patients, carers and family/friends of patients across the country.
It is a charity and disease that is close to the hearts of clan Parker/Henderson/Scott as our dad/father-in-law was diagnosed with Myeloma in 2015. And we can speak from experience that Myeloma UK is a fantastic charity, staffed by brilliant people, who need all the support we can give them in their cause.
In doing so, we (and you) will be helping to kick Myeloma’s butt, and helping to make Myeloma history. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this. And if you want to go even further and add a few pennies (or even pounds!) to help our cause that would just mean the world to all four of us.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
