Thank you for your support, for those of you who know me well, you will know just how ironic it is that I am running a marathon.  If I make it round in one piece I will be donating all the money I raise to Macmillan cancer support.

As some of you may know, my aunt died of pancreatic cancer a few months ago and the Macmillan nurses worked so hard to give her the dignity she so deserved at such a difficult time.  She was a proud and glamorous woman and I feel privileged to be running in her memory. Having seen their work first hand, I know that everyone who has to deal with cancer in their lives deserves to have that support.
