Story

Hello! I'm Rachel, and I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting MS in Dec 2020. As a runner before my diagnosis, I picked it back up in early 2022, and have since run 4 half marathons, and 1 x 10k race. One of the half marathons (Royal Parks Half Marathon) was also for raising money for MS-UK. The charity has supported me through the early stages of my diagnosis via counselling and their information leaflets, and I will do everything I can to give back so they can help others like me. I am intimidated by a marathon, but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to keep healthy, while helping such an amazing charity. Any and all donations are welcome! Thank you :)

In April 2024, I will be taking part in The TCS London Marathon to raise money for MS-UK! MS-UK is a national charity dedicated to empowering people affected by multiple sclerosis to live happier and healthier lives. They work to improve the understanding of MS and provide support where it is needed most. Their services include a helpline, providing information and emotional support, online activities, information booklets and a bi-monthly magazine New Pathways. Every donation makes a huge difference thank you so much for your support!
