Story

From the couch in 2016 to London Marathon in 2020 (and now due to COVID-19 even 2021!)

In August 2016, in a moment of madness, I signed up for a walk to run course.  A total non-runner at this point and thought it would be good to be able to run 5km.  Don’t think I really believed I’d stick at it, but I’d give it a go! Anyway, I found a fabulous group of people who motivated me and soon these strangers became my friends, and 5km turned to 10km and even 5 half marathons.

I now feel the time is right to make it a marathon, and if I’m only doing ONE (thanks to COVID-19...2!)  marathons it has to be London! And the opportunity to run for MS-UK and make a huge difference to this charity is amazing and will allow them to continue to support people with MS, along with their friends and families. #fromcouchtoLondon #teampurple #msuk
