Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

The Stroke Association wants a world where there are fewer strokes and all of those who experience a stroke get the support they need.

Stroke is one of the biggest health issues of our time. That is why the Stroke Association works to raise awareness of stroke and stroke prevention whilst running over 400 services for 63,000 people every year. It's why we invest in stroke research and campaign to ouch stroke higher up the public and government agenda to where it belongs.

A stroke is a brain attack. There are around 150,000 strokes every year. It is the third biggest killer and the biggest cause of complex adult disability in the country. 1.4m people living with their stroke in the today, not to mention their family, friends and carers who offer vital sources of support.

Please join us in our mission for a world in which there are fewer strokes and all of those affected by stroke get the support they need.
