Bhopal Medical Appeal

I came across the charity earlier this year and was embarrassed about how little I knew about it and from speaking to others how little people in general knew about what had happened.

The Bhopal disaster in India was a result of the Union Carbide plant which leaked 27 tonnes of gas into the city, affecting half a million people. The Bhopal Medical Appeal provides free medical care to the 120,000 chronically ill survivors that were left and those faces health problems due to a contaminated water supply.
