Less than a year ago I laced up a pair of trainers and hit the pavements struggling to run even 200 yards but as a challenge for myself I thought I would enter the ballot for the London marathon 2023 never thinking I would get a place. 

To my surprise a place was offered to me and for my love of animals and the outdoors it seamed only right to run my place for the Blue Cross.
