Story

Dawn Ford was a much loved mum, grandma and colleague who was the  tailoress at RAF Bruggen and Cosford for many years. Taken from us all way too soon after a brave fight against cancer

"Never was so much owed by so many to so few"Help me commemorate 'The Few' and raise money to keep their memory alive by supporting the Royal Air Force Museum. They have set an ambitious target of raising an additional £10,000 in sponsorship. £1,000 for every kilometre run. Your sponsorship will enable the Royal Air Force Museum, a registered Charity, to tell the inspiring stories of RAF personnel, just like The Few the courageous Battle of Britain Pilots and Crew who fought in the skies above Britain in 1940.The Royal Air Force has shaped our nation. It has influenced how we live our lives today through its impact on world events, society and technology. With your support, they will be able to continue to share the RAF Story, past, present and future, using the stories of its people and their collections in order to engage, inspire and encourage learning.
