Together Katie, Mia, Lisa, Yvonne, Marie, Chloe & Rachael are completing the 18 mile Kiltwalk from Duthie Park in Aberdeen to Bellfield Park in Banchory on Sunday 4th June.

We’re walking as a team “Ron’s Rainbows” to raise money for Rainbow Rogues in Ellon which is a charity to support children under 5 with disabilities & additional support needs. Rainbow Rogues is a vital lifeline to so many children & their families, providing guideance, support & a safe place. It‘s the only facility of its kind in the city & shire & relies entirely on charity donations & grants which unfortunately have drastically reduced in recent months.

Katie’s son Ronnie is autistic & attends Rainbow Rogues once a week where he gets to socialise with other children similar to him, play in a specialist inclusive environment & get support from the ladies there who are very experienced with pre-school children with complex needs. Ronnie loves it there as does Katie who receives invaluable respite, help & advice from fellow parents & the staff.

All donations are greatly appriciated by Ronnie, team Ron’s Rainbows, the staff & all of the children & their families at Rainbow Rogues to help keep it open & running.
