So guys.......after much procastination I have eventually done the right thing and committed myself to this years Great North Run. I will always feel like I owe Marie Curie a huge amount for the care and compassion shown to my mum in her final hours..........without them my memories of those last moments would not be the ones that I now hold so dear.

On a lighter note i'm feeling extremely priveleged (and hugely excited!!) to be able to run for Marie Curie and would appreciate any support you can give me - £20 pays for just 1 hours specialised care by a Marie Curie nurse so as you can imagine those pennies are much needed.
