Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am trekking to Everest Base Camp (EBC) as it's something I've always wanted to do and I figure it would be nice to raise money for a worthwhile charity in the process. I have funded the whole trek myself so 100% of all donations will go straight to Kidney Research UK. 

Why Kidney Research UK? This charity doesn't seem to get enough recognition for all the hard work they do.  Without them people would not be able to have transplants, dialysis or any other related medication associated with kidney health. 

A couple of weeks ago my dad received a kidney from a donor, so this charity is close to my heart. I feel that this is the best way for me to say thanks,  show my appreciation and to try and help others.

Please can anyone donate anything to help fund this charity, it doesn't have to be a lot.
