Story

So, I have never really cycled further than 20 miles or so and have never done more than one day at a time! However, since the Tsunami struck in 2004 and family friend Piers Simon tragically lost his life to the waves his family have worked tirelessly and selflessly to raise money for communities affected by disaster worldwide. When the Chilthorne Domer to Paris ride was devised I decided that now was the time to show my support and admiration for the charity by stepping up to the challenge! So, on the 19th April 2011 I wiill join around 16 other riders to begin the 250 mile ride from my home village of Chilthorne Domer in Somerset, to the finishing point at the Eiffel Tower in gay Paris! This is the first time I have taken part in a fundraising event of this size and I aiming high with my target to spur me on to the finish line so please sponsor as much as you can for this brilliantly amazing charity! Thank you! x
