Story
I am having my first ride on the flat in a 1m5f charity race at Kelso on this Sunday 22nd May to raise money for The House That Jack Built for the Injured Jockeys Fund. I ride Via Archimede thanks to his generous owners K&C Partnership.
Jack Berry is the driving force behind building a facility in the North similar to Oaksey House in Lambourn which has facilities to help injured jockeys get back to race fitness as fast as possible.
The IJF is a charity close to my heart as it looks after jockeys in times of need. Peter Scudamore is one of the trustees and I know from him how effective the charity is.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I really appreciate your support and donations, and I will ride extra hard up the finishing straight for you.
