Story
Throughout April, myself, friends and family will be making a series of pledges to raise money for the Rainbow Ward at University Hospital of Wales. This is to coincide with 25 years since being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and having chemotherapy, aged 9. It feels like the right time to give something back and to say a big thank you to LATCH for the help and support we as a family received all those years ago.
Pledge 25 examples..
- Cutting 25cms of hair and donating to The Little Princess Trust (Rachael Loynton)

Rainbow Ward is the Oncology Unit for children up to the age of thirteen based at the Childrens Hospital for Wales. It is a unique environment that hosts very special children and families. The entire ward is in need of much more than a facelift and simply isn't fit for the needs of today, so there is a mammoth task ahead with a complete redesign with a high spec finish, including ambient lighting and state of the art technology.
I know first hand what this will mean to the children receiving treatment and their families, who will be able to have the most comfortable experiences possible during such physically and emotionally difficult times.
Please donate what you can to help support #pledge25 and this incredible and worthwhile campaign to upgrade Rainbow Ward.
