After what has been, for so many a difficult pandemic, it is time to do a school fundraiser. This one is close to my heart as my nephew, Tommy, was diagnosed with diabetes at an early age. So why shave my head? I have had long hair since my early teens, doubt many could even remember! But now I can put it to good use. The hair will be donated to charity for wigs and I am hoping my baldness will (a) raise a significant amount for this really important charity, (b) help others to see their worth whatever they look like. Sadly Tommy won't get to see this, but I am sure he would approve.
