Story
Our team has entered a triathlon-style fundraising challenge where we'll be cycling, canoeing and hill walking between dawn and dusk, racing the sun to raise money for Action Medical Research for Children.
The challenge takes place in the Lake District and starts with a 40-mile bike ride around Skiddaw Mountain followed by a 2-mile canoe on Derwent Water and finishing with an 11-mile hike to the summit of Skiddaw Mountain at an altitude of 931m.
Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. Almost everyone has been touched in some way by our ground-breaking work, like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine.
All donations go towards Action Medical Research and are greatly appreciated.
