Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On May 6 2014, we lost our wonderful sister, daughter, granddaughter, girlfriend, godmother and friend Laura to lung cancer, aged just 26.
Laura didn't smoke, she had a healthy and active life. She brought so much joy and love to us all. It's heartbreaking that the signs of cancer in young people are often diagnosed too late. We want to raise money and awareness so that other families stop losing their loved ones so early in life.
To help do our part, myself and couple of silly mates, Kevin and Damien, will be running the Manchester marathon on April 19, before riding from Laura's home in the Peak District all the way to London in time for me to run the London marathon 7 days later.
We'd be thrilled if you could help us raise as much money as possible for The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, who give help and hope to people affected by cancer.
Thank you.
Jamie, Kevin and Damien.
