Story
I've been keeping this one fairly quiet.... In August I'll be taking part in the Race Across Scotland.
Race Across Scotland is a 215 mile run from Portpatrick on the West Coast all the way to Cockburnspath on the East Coast along the Southern Upland Way with a time limit of 100 hours.
It's a pretty epic race, essentially 8 marathons back to back with very little sleep and lots of hills! Sounds fun?
This challenge presented itself with an opportunity to raise some sponsorship and having seen the disaster in Turkey and Syria unfold at the start of the year it felt like a worthwhile cause to support.
With that in mind I'll be raising funds for Shelterbox who provide shelter, essential items and technical assistance to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people recover and rebuild their homes after disaster.
If you can spare a few pounds then it would be greatly appreciated.
