Story
R3London will #BeMoreSanta this December by holding an Ugly Christmas Jumper day and donating their secret Santa to help raise vital funds for Rays of Sunshine.
Rays of Sunshine Children's charity brightens up the lives of seriously ill children in the UK aged three to 18 years old granting wishes, granting hospital ward wishes and organising outings and large scale events for seriously ill children.
Christmas is a poignant time of year for families living with a seriously ill child to create precious family memories. Money raised will help fund wishes for children to visit Santa and his reindeer in Lapland this Christmas. Funds will also contribute towards the cost of two large parties hosted by the charity this Christmas, which will entertain up to 600 families. These parties provide families with the chance to put thoughts of doctors and medicine aside and start the festive season off in true Rays of Sunshine style!
As they like to say Rays of Sunshine are more Santa, 365 days a year! This December we are joining their #BeMoreSanta movement and helping to raise vital funds to grant wishes for seriously ill children.
Childhood should not be about illness, treatments and hospital visits but instead should be filled with happiness, joy and magic memories. Rays of sunshine can’t power wishes for seriously ill children without the public's generosity however, so please donate to our page if you can. Thank you.
