I'm going outside for a while... · 12 February 2023

Our 280,000 Steps in February is back for 2023! You can break the target down to 10,000 steps a day or split the distance in the best way for you throughout the month to #StopthePain of EB.

Story

My name is Rob and I am a father of three incredible children - two of which have EB Simplex. My wife, Claire, also has EB Simplex.

I will be walking 280,000 steps in February to raise money for DEBRA. DEBRA is a national charity and patient support group for people living with the rare genetic skin condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). EB causes the skin to become very fragile and it can tear or blister at the slightest touch. All donations will go towards their A Life Free of Pain Appeal to develop treatments that could help stop the pain of EB. I will match any donations received to help them reach this target.

As part of my 280,000 steps, I intend to walk 100 miles of the Pennine Way during February half term.
