We're all sorted now with a sat nav, ferry crossings booked, accommodation secured so nearly ready for the off!

 I’m a kidney transplant patient, feeling better than ever after transplant no 4 it has been a rocky road since my shock diagnosis of kidney failure in 1992, but glad to say I’m ready to take on new challenges.

My partner Rob and I had this idea which would combine fundraising for Kidney Wales Foundation, motor biking and transporter bridges; we have kept to Europe as Argentina is just a bridge too far!

We plan to start out from our iconic bridge in Newport, then visit Warrington, Middlesbrough, ferry to Amsterdam onto to Rendesburg and Osten in Germany, Rocheforte in France, Portagalette in Spain then on to Santander for the ferry back to Portsmouth. We're off on our adventure in April 2011.
